Terms of Use

Updated on February 19, 2026

Welcome to the Les Fromages de Thoricourt website! We’re all about great cheese and clear rules. Here’s what you need to know while browsing our site.

1. Who are we?

This site is owned by Les Fromages de Thoricourt. If you run into any technical glitches, feel free to give our webmaster at Just-in-code a shout at info@justincode.be.

2. Our cheesy info

We do our best to keep descriptions, prices, and stock levels spot-on. However, since we deal with artisanal products, things can change! All info is provided for guidance only. We can't be held responsible for small typos or if a cheese is temporarily out of stock.

3. Hands off our content!

Our cheese photos, texts, and logo are our pride and joy. Please respect the law: any unauthorized use or reproduction of our content is strictly a no-go.

4. Third-party links

Sometimes we link to partners or friends. We don’t control what they do on their sites, so make sure to check their own legal notices and cookie policies.

5. Your Privacy (GDPR)

We treat your data with respect:

  • Forms: If you contact us, your info stays with us. We don't sell your data to third parties.
  • Cookies: We use small cookies to see which pages you like most (anonymous stats). You can disable them in your browser settings if you prefer.

6. Safety & Law

We work hard to keep the site secure, but we aren't responsible for issues with your own device or third-party links. Since we are in Belgium, any major disputes will be settled under Belgian Law by the courts of Brussels.

General Terms

1. Scope

These terms apply to all our sales (cheese, platters, local products). By placing an order, you agree to these rules.

2. Quotes

Our quotes (for events) are valid for 20 days. After that, prices might change based on seasonal costs.

3. Orders & Deposits

Orders are confirmed once a 30% deposit is paid. If you cancel, the deposit is non-refundable to cover our prep work.

4. No Returns

Since we deal with perishable goods (cheese goes bad!) and custom-made platters, there is no right of withdrawal once the order is processed.

5. Storage & Responsibility

We guarantee freshness at the moment of pickup/delivery. After that, it's on you to keep them chilled. We aren't responsible for any spoilage due to improper storage.

6. Complaints

Notice a problem? Let us know within 24 hours. We can't handle complaints for fresh food days later!
